Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Resetly AI ("Resetly," "we," "us," or "our"), operated by Ashley Callahan in Arizona, United States.

By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or using Resetly AI, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use Resetly AI.

1. What Resetly AI Does

Resetly AI is an AI-powered household planning tool designed to help users decide what household tasks matter right now based on information such as available time, energy, priorities, and household context.

Resetly is designed around functional resets rather than perfection. It may suggest tasks, simplify plans, adjust recommendations, or suggest that you stop.

Resetly AI is a planning and organizational tool. It is not a professional cleaning service, emergency service, medical service, mental health service, childcare service, home-safety inspection service, financial service, or other professional advisory service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to create a Resetly AI account or purchase a subscription.

By using Resetly AI, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. Accounts

Some features require an account.

You agree to provide accurate information and maintain the security of your login credentials. You are responsible for activity occurring through your account unless caused by a security failure attributable to Resetly AI.

You may also be able to access Resetly AI using a supported third-party authentication provider, such as Google or Apple. Your use of those authentication services is also subject to the applicable provider's terms and policies.

You may not sell, transfer, or provide unauthorized access to your account.

4. Free Resets

Resetly AI currently provides eligible users with up to three free resets before a paid subscription is required for continued use.

The free-reset offering may be changed, discontinued, or replaced for future users at our discretion. Changes will not retroactively create charges for previously free use.

Deleting Reset History does not restore or replenish free resets.

If you permanently delete your account and later create a genuinely new account, the new account may receive the free-reset allowance available at that time.

We may restrict attempts to abuse, automate, manipulate, or circumvent free-access limits.

5. Paid Subscriptions

Resetly AI currently offers recurring subscription options including:

  • Monthly: $7.99 USD per month
  • Annual: $59.00 USD per year

Applicable taxes, if any, may be added where required.

Prices and subscription offerings may change in the future. Any price change affecting an existing recurring subscription will be handled with notice and in accordance with applicable law and payment-platform requirements.

6. Automatic Renewal

Resetly AI subscriptions automatically renew at the applicable monthly or annual interval unless canceled before the next renewal date.

By purchasing a subscription, you authorize Stripe to charge your selected payment method for recurring subscription fees and applicable taxes until the subscription is canceled.

Your subscription-management screen or Stripe Customer Portal will provide information about your subscription status and applicable renewal or access date.

7. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription using the subscription-management features available through your Resetly AI account.

When you cancel through the normal subscription-management process, your subscription may remain active through the end of the already-paid billing period unless otherwise stated during cancellation.

You will not be charged for another renewal after cancellation takes effect.

Deleting your Resetly AI account is different from normal subscription cancellation. If you permanently delete your account while an active subscription exists, Resetly AI will cancel the associated subscription immediately to prevent future charges, and access to the deleted account ends immediately.

8. Refunds

Except where required by law, subscription payments are generally non-refundable once charged.

Canceling a subscription ordinarily prevents future renewal charges but does not automatically refund amounts already paid.

Deleting your account does not automatically create a refund.

If you believe you were charged incorrectly or believe exceptional circumstances justify a refund, contact hello@resetly-home.com. Any discretionary refund decision does not create an obligation to provide the same result in another situation.

Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable refund or consumer rights provided by applicable law.

9. Payment Processing

Payments are processed by Stripe.

Resetly AI does not store your complete payment card number. Your payment and use of Stripe's payment services may also be subject to Stripe's applicable terms and privacy practices.

10. AI-Generated Content and Limitations

Resetly AI uses artificial intelligence, and AI-generated output can sometimes be inaccurate, incomplete, inappropriate for your circumstances, or simply wrong.

You are responsible for deciding whether a recommendation is appropriate and safe for your household.

Do not rely on Resetly AI as the sole source of information when a situation involves health, safety, emergencies, hazardous materials, electrical or structural problems, childcare safety, medication, fire, gas, chemicals, dangerous equipment, or another circumstance requiring professional judgment.

If an emergency or immediate safety issue exists, stop using Resetly AI and seek appropriate emergency or professional assistance.

Resetly AI does not guarantee that a suggested plan identifies every task, hazard, maintenance issue, cleaning need, or household concern.

11. Your Content

You retain your rights in information you submit to Resetly AI.

You give Resetly AI and its service providers permission to process that information as reasonably necessary to operate the service, generate requested AI responses, maintain features you choose to use, secure the service, and otherwise perform the activities described in our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to submit information you provide.

Do not submit content that is unlawful or that violates another person's privacy, intellectual-property rights, or other legal rights.

12. Resetly Memory

Resetly AI may allow you to explicitly save information to Memory for use in future resets.

You control the Memory items associated with your account and may permanently delete saved Memory.

Resetly does not guarantee that Memory will always produce a particular AI response or recommendation. You remain responsible for reviewing AI-generated plans based on your current circumstances.

13. Acceptable Use

You may not use Resetly AI to:

  • violate applicable law;
  • infringe another person's rights;
  • attempt unauthorized access to Resetly AI or another user's account;
  • interfere with or disrupt the service;
  • introduce malicious software or code;
  • scrape, probe, reverse engineer, or systematically extract the service except where such restriction is prohibited by law;
  • circumvent subscription or usage restrictions;
  • use automated methods to create accounts or exploit free-reset allowances;
  • impersonate another person; or
  • use the service for fraudulent, abusive, or harmful purposes.

We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect Resetly AI, our users, service providers, or others.

14. Intellectual Property

Resetly AI, including its branding, interface, software, original written materials, design elements, and other proprietary content, is owned by or licensed to the operator of Resetly AI and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

These Terms give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use Resetly AI for its intended purpose.

They do not transfer ownership of Resetly AI or its underlying technology to you.

15. Availability and Changes

We aim to keep Resetly AI available and useful, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

Features may be added, changed, suspended, or discontinued as the product develops.

We may perform maintenance, address security concerns, modify AI providers or infrastructure, or make other changes necessary to operate the service.

16. Third-Party Services

Resetly AI relies on third-party providers, including providers of hosting, database infrastructure, artificial intelligence, authentication, and payment processing.

We are not responsible for outages, errors, or actions of third-party services outside our reasonable control.

Your interaction with certain third-party services may also be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

17. Disclaimer of Warranties

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RESETLY AI IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE."

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT RESETLY AI WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, COMPLETELY SECURE, OR THAT AI-GENERATED INFORMATION WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR APPROPRIATE FOR EVERY USER OR HOUSEHOLD.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM IMPLIED WARRANTIES INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so portions of this section may not apply to you.

18. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, RESETLY AI AND ITS OPERATOR WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, RESETLY AI.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO RESETLY AI WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF:

  1. THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO RESETLY AI DURING THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM; OR
  2. $100 USD.

These limitations do not apply where liability cannot legally be excluded or limited.

19. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for claims, losses, or expenses arising from your unlawful misuse of Resetly AI, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of another person's rights.

This section does not require you to indemnify Resetly AI for conduct for which indemnification cannot legally be required.

20. Termination

You may stop using Resetly AI at any time and may permanently delete your account through Account settings.

We may suspend or terminate access if you materially violate these Terms, use the service fraudulently or unlawfully, create a security risk, or misuse the service.

Where reasonably appropriate, we may provide notice or an opportunity to correct a violation before termination.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including provisions concerning intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and applicable law, will survive.

21. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except to the extent applicable consumer-protection law requires otherwise.

Nothing in these Terms removes rights that cannot legally be waived under the laws applicable to you.

22. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as Resetly AI evolves.

When we update them, we will revise the "Last Updated" date above. If we make material changes, we may provide additional notice where appropriate or legally required.

Continued use after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by applicable law. If applicable law requires affirmative consent to a change, we will request it.
